Standards for All Hasht Participants

Our Community Principle
Hasht exists to protect human creativity. We respect the hashed rights of all creators, act with integrity, and maintain the trust that makes our evidence system valuable. Everyone - users, testers, investors, and partners - upholds these standards.
1. Who This Applies To
This Code of Conduct applies to:
- Users: Anyone with a Hasht account
- Pilot Testers: Beta participants testing our system
- Demo Users: Investors and partners with demo access
- Partners: Organizations integrating with Hasht
- Visitors: Anyone accessing our platform
2. Core Principles
2.1 Authenticity
The foundation of hashed rights is truth. You must:
- Only hash work you actually created or have rights to claim
- Provide accurate information about yourself and your creations
- Never fabricate or backdate creation claims
- Be honest in all interactions with our platform and community
2.2 Respect for Others' Rights
Every creator deserves protection. You must:
- Respect others' hashed rights and creation claims
- Not hash work belonging to others without authorization
- Not use Hasht to support plagiarism or theft
- Acknowledge when work builds upon others' contributions
2.3 Integrity
Our evidence system depends on trust. You must:
- Not attempt to manipulate timestamps or hashes
- Not circumvent security measures or access controls
- Not interfere with other users' accounts or data
- Report vulnerabilities responsibly instead of exploiting them
3. Prohibited Conduct
3.1 Fraudulent Claims
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Hashing stolen, plagiarized, or infringing content
- Creating false evidence of creation priority
- Claiming AI-generated work as human-created without disclosure
- Using others' identities or impersonation
- Fabricating creation process documentation
3.2 System Abuse
- Attempting to reverse engineer our cryptographic systems
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits
- Automated access without authorization
- Tampering with proofs, signatures, or timestamps
- Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities
3.3 Harmful Behavior
- Harassment, threats, or intimidation of any user
- Using Hasht to enable illegal activities
- Uploading malicious files or code
- Violating others' privacy or confidentiality
- Discrimination based on protected characteristics
4. Pilot & Demo Participants
If you have special access (Pilot or Demo account), you also agree to:
4.1 Confidentiality
- Maintain confidentiality as agreed in your terms
- Not share screenshots, features, or system details publicly
- Not reproduce or duplicate the Hasht system
- Protect any proprietary information you encounter
4.2 Good Faith Participation
- Use the system as intended for evaluation purposes
- Provide honest feedback to improve the platform
- Report issues rather than exploiting them
- Respect the trust placed in you as an early participant
5. Enforcement
5.1 Monitoring
All activity on Hasht is logged. This isn't surveillance - it's evidence preservation. These logs:
- Document your creation process (your protection)
- Enable investigation of policy violations
- Provide evidence in case of disputes
- Are permanent by design
5.2 Consequences
Violations may result in:
- Warning: For minor or first-time violations
- Suspension: Temporary loss of access
- Termination: Permanent account closure
- Evidence Preservation: Your violation record is retained
- Legal Action: For serious violations including fraud
5.3 Appeals
If you believe enforcement was unjust, you may appeal by contacting conduct@hashedright.com within 30 days. Appeals are reviewed by our team and decisions are final.
6. Reporting Violations
If you witness violations of this Code:
- Email: conduct@hashedright.com
- Include: What happened, who was involved, any evidence
- We investigate all reports confidentially
- Retaliation against reporters is strictly prohibited
