Code of Conduct

How we treat each other in the Hasht community

Our Mission

Hasht exists to protect creators. We believe everyone deserves proof of their creative work, regardless of their resources, connections, or location. We're building tools to level the playing field.

Community Standards

  • 1. Respect creators. Every person here has made something they care about. Treat their work with respect.
  • 2. No theft. Don't use Hasht to claim ownership of work you didn't create. We will terminate accounts that attempt this.
  • 3. Be honest. If you're applying for the Redemption Challenge, tell the truth about what happened.
  • 4. Help others. If you've been through the process, share your experience. Your story could help someone else.
  • 5. No harassment. Even if someone stole from you, handle disputes through proper channels, not public attacks.

What We Don't Tolerate

  • Filing false claims of ownership
  • Using the platform to harass or defame others
  • Attempting to manipulate timestamps or proofs
  • Sharing illegal content
  • Violating others' privacy

Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination. We log all activity for audit purposes. If you see a violation, report it.

Bottom line: Be the creator you wish others were. Make stuff, prove it's yours, and respect everyone else doing the same.
